FAQ

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The OCR engine and language data run and load entirely in your browser, from this site — your PDF or images never leave your device.

How accurate is the text it finds?

It works best on clean, high-resolution scans of printed text. Skewed or low-quality photos will have more errors, and handwriting recognition is hit-or-miss.

Which languages are supported?

English and Korean. English also works reasonably well for many other languages that use the Latin alphabet.
